The general knowledge exam contains important knowledge and safe driving information that all commercial drivers must know in order to obtain a commercial drivers license (CDL).
CDL AIR BRAKES PRACTICE TEST
A large percentage of the CMVs (commercial motor vehicle) on our roads today are equipped with air brakes. Your brakes are the last line of defense when it comes to avoiding accidents and it is because of this that you should have a good understanding of air brakes and how they work.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS PRACTICE TEST
Before you can drive any vehicle that is used in the transportation of materials that require hazmat placarding or any quantity of a material listed as a select agent or toxin in 42 CFR 93, you must pass the hazardous materials test to obtain the endorsement on your CDL.

Bus drivers must have a commercial driver license if they drive a vehicle designed to seat more than 16 or more persons, including the driver. Bus drivers must have a passenger endorsement on their commercial driver license. To get the endorsement you must pass a knowledge test.

This test contains questions you must know to pass the CDL knowledge test for driving a tank vehicle. A tank endorsement is required for certain vehicles that transport liquids or gases. The liquid or gas does not have to be a hazardous material.
